Epipremnum pictus, also known as Trebie, is a species of evergreen, climbing or trailing plant in the family Araceae. It is native to the tropical rainforests of Southeast Asia, where it grows as an epiphyte or lithophyte (on rocks). The plant is known for its attractive, variegated leaves that have a green and yellow coloration, with the yellow being more pronounced on the new growth.
Trebie is a fast-growing plant that is easy to care for and can be propagated easily from cuttings. It is a great choice for hanging baskets, or as a trailing plant in a container or on a wall. When grown in low light conditions, the leaves may lose some of their variegation and become more green, but with adequate light the variegated leaves will return.
Trebie prefers to grow in bright, indirect light, and in well-draining soil. It is also important to keep the soil evenly moist, but not too wet, as the plant is susceptible to root rot if it is left in standing water. The plant is not very drought-tolerant and will appreciate regular watering, especially in dry conditions.
